Wedding season is almost here! Here's a how to prepare:

To me, spring means it’s almost wedding season!  Whether you’re a lucky bride or groom, in the wedding party, or a guest, looking good takes a little planning.  I put together a quick timeline to help you look your best for any event.

6 months before:

Prep your skin!  Treat acne, hyperpigmentation, or large pores with regular chemical peels and/or laser treatments.  Since multiple sessions may be required, it’s best to start early.  Prevent any further damage by using SPF every day, and apply an anti-aging night cream with retinol before bed.

2 months before:

If you’ve never had Botox or fillers before, have the treatments done about 6-8 weeks prior to a big event.  That gives enough time for everything to settle, and we can make small adjustments if needed!

One month before:

A microneedling treatment will shrink pores, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve overall skin texture.

Sweat stains are not a good look for your expensive suit or dress, so prevent excessive sweating with Botox to your underarms.  It can take up to a month to kick in, but lasts over 6 months!

1 week before:

Give your makeup artist a smooth canvas by getting a microdermabrasion treatment.

Most importantly, stay hydrated, get plenty of sleep, and enjoy this exciting time!
